PETER RIPPER: Having been with the BBC Radio Orchestra, is also much in demand for theatre, symphonic, jazz and recording work. Indeed Peter Ripper's bass saxophone can be heard on a Harry Potter soundtrack. He founded and conducts the Maidenhead Concert band and is saxophone tutor at Eton College.


ANDY FINDON: Andy’s background of mixed musical experience has led to an incredibly diverse career. Having trained as an orchestral flautist, as principal flute of the National Youth Orchestra in the early 1970’s and 3 years at the Royal College of Music, he soon branched out into the London musical scene, from dance band dates (working for Nat Temple, Joe Loss, Eric Delaney & Sidney Lipton among others) to Ballet Rambert, taking in The National Theatre and the formation of the Myhra Saxophone Quartet with John Harle. more...


STAN SULZMANN: Stan Sulzmann is without question one of the most highly respected musicians in the UK today, admired by musicians and audiences for his instantly recognisable sound, and boundless creative imagination, and is a source of inspiration to many of Britain's emerging young musicians. DAVID WHITE: David White studied at the Royal Academy of Music with John Davis on clarinet and Sir John Dankworth on saxophone. He won the Geoffrey Hawkes Prize for clarinet, adjudicated by Jack Brymer. His education also included membership of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and Keith Tippett’s Centipede. TIM HOLMES: Tim Holmes studied clarinet and saxophone at the Royal Academy of Music. STEPHEN PIERCE: Stephen Pierce has maintained a busy and varied schedule as a freelance musician for over 30 years. He has played with most of the major British orchestras including the CBSO under Simon Rattle and the LSO with Andre Previn (on bass sax). Stephen’s love of, and involvement with chamber music has spanned his entire career. On leaving the RCM he joined the Marlborough Wind Quintet, subsequently played in the Stadler Ensemble (clarinet, cello and piano) and the Franchi Saxophone Quartet (on baritone). more...


RICHARD ADDISON: Richard Addison was a member of
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra from 1974 to 2005. Prior to that he had been a member of the BBC Training Orchestra (1968-70), subsequently joining the BBC Midland Light Orchestra in 1971. Richard has performed with all the country’s leading orchestras and chamber groups as well as playing on countless film scores, West End musicals and recordings. more...
